Wood-Mizer®
CUSTOMER LUMBER CONTRACT
THIS AGREEMENT, by and between Randy L. Freeman of North Florida Portable Sawmill, (Sawyer), and___________________________ (Customer), with the Wood-Mizer® sawmill as follows:
1. Sawyer agrees to cut customer’s log at: Customer site ___ or Sawyer’s property___( a $375.00 per day minimum charge applies); for ___________ per hundred board foot of lumber cut. Charges are based on actual lumber cut rather than scaled volume. (Note: Net useable lumber will be greater than scale when cut with the Wood-Mizer®.) A board foot of lumber is defined as 12” x 12” x 1”.
2. In addition, Customer shall pay Sawyer a $200 non-refundable deposit for delivery and location set-up of the Wood-Mizer®. Also, if Sawyer is required to re-locate Wood-Mizer® on site, there shall be an additional charge of $35 per move. In the event a saw blade is broke or damaged by foreign matter (nail, rock, metal, etc.) in Customer’s log, there is a charger of $35.00 per damaged blade.
3. Sawyer will arrive at Customer’s location at ________ O’Clock __M., on ___________________, to start operation. Customer agrees to provide men to assist in loading and unloading logs and lumber. All logs shall be stacked in location of the mill so that there can be continuous loading of the mill by rolling logs up the mill ramp without moving the mill. Lumber shall be stacked at mill location to allow continuous cutting operation.

5. Payment in full shall be made as follows: CASH, ZELLE, VENMO, PAYPAL ONLY AT THE END OF EACH DAY. SHOULD THERE BE AN UNPAID BALANCE, ANY MILLED LUMBER WILL BECOME THE PROPERTY OF THE SAWYER. PAYMENT IN FULL MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 7 DAYS AFTER THE JOB IS COMPLETED. THERE WILL BE AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE OF 20% TO COVER COSTS OF HAVING TO MOVE THE LUMBER. WHEN THE CUSTOMER PAYS IN FULL, IT WILL BE THE CUSTOMER’S RESPONSILBILITY TO LOAD AND TRANSPORT THE LUMBER. THE CUSTOMER AGREES TO NOT INTERFERE WITH THE SAWYER FROM REMOVING ANY UNPAID LUMBER FROM THEIR PROPERTY.
6. It is understood by the Customer that log handling and cutting may be hazardous. Customer shall be responsible for the conduct of helpers and observers and agrees to hold Sawyer and the Wood-Mizer® sawmill manufacturer harmless for any injury or damage whatsoever to helpers or observers arising out of the operation of the mill and the handling of logs and lumber. It shall be the Customer’s duty and obligation to keep all children and observers out of the work area. Customer represents that he/she is the owner of the logs and/or has the authority to enter into this AGREEMENT on behalf of all interested parties.
